Bucky the male German Shepherd dog looking for new home, for sale in Cavan

Cavan German Shepherd Age: 2 years 1 Male
This is Bucky, 2 and a half year old male German Shepherd. He is very playful, enjoys long walks especially in the forest where he can roam freely. He also loves to swim. He knows commands and is good on a leash but you have to be stern with him because he can get too excited. He is good with children. He is good with cats, he lived at home with two cats and he just played with them, however with outside cats he acts like any other dog. He is very friendly towards other dogs and wants to play with them, we never had an incident of him being aggressive. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He can live inside or outside, of course he would prefer the inside since he is very companionable. If he lives outside he needs a big garden. He is used to being alone for most of the day when we are away at work. Unfortunately at the moment our circumstances changed and we can longer provide him with the necessary time and attention he needs and deserves.

We are looking for a new home for our beloved female 5 year 11 month old deaf Old English Sheepdog. She is IKC registered. This gentle giant is affectionate, intelligent, and loves being part of the family. With a playful nature, she makes an excellent companion for families with children. Our Sheepdog is well-socialized and enjoys spending time with her human family. It is said they require regular grooming to maintain their beautiful shaggy coat although our 5 year old has short hair for a long time that does not grow so fast. Some interesting facts about Charlee, She loves playing ball, she likes playing footsie, she makes lots of interesting sounds. If you wrestle with her she gets all hyper, when you run around a table she loves to chase after you. She is great to walk with and does not pull. She likes to follow you everywhere around the house, she gets curious as to where you are if she cant see you. She spends most of her time sleeping . She loves hugs and attention but does not seek it, only when it is given. She loves to squeeze in between your legs for affection. She loves to go from gate to gate as she feels the vibrations of cars , trucks and tractors pass by and sometimes even watches the birds in the sky. She sometimes loves to roll around on her back. Shes very obedient and friendly. She is ok being at home alone. She can bark and surprise you , out of the blue as she hears vibrations not sounds. When you sit on the ground and not give her attention she lies beside you , once you do give attention she pushes you for attention and wants more and more, again as in she does not ask for attention but once given loves it. She is potty trained and can stay at home whilst you work, she doesnt destroy anything as she is mature and a good girl. Luna is a purebred Akita girl. She is 2 years 7 months old and went through a lot for her young age but she is a fighter and despite of that she never lost her playful and enthusiastic nature. She was born with a grade 4 heart murmur. We adopted her and scheduled her for a surgery in 2023. All went well and Luna found a new home in Hungary. Unfortunately the old gentleman that adopted her back in 2023, had a severe accident and couldn't look after her any longer. Therefore we brought her back to Ireland. Here some facts about Luna: She is a playful nature and loves to be around her family and get attention. She loves people and great with kids ( the man had two grandchildren nine and eleven years old who spent most of the summer with the grandparents) She loves to be loved 💗. She loves her walkies She used to be an indoor dog and has to be in the new family as well. She loves to stay outside in the garden as well (eventually when at work for a couple of hours) but not really all day and overnight. She is fine with other male dogs . She wasn't getting on well with other female dogs She isn't getting on with cats . She has a high pray drive so not recommended for place where backyard chickens are running around free. 😊 All vaccinations and worming are up to date.
