The Irish Wolfhound is one of the Irish native breeds of dogs. The name originates from its purpose—wolf hunting with dogs—rather than from its appearance. It is the tallest of all recognised breeds. Irish Wolfhounds can be an imposing sight, standing as high as 32 inches at the shoulder and weighing as much as 180 pounds (80 kgs). Despite their formidable appearance, they are gentle giants and are truly devoted to their families. They are also relatively calm dogs, the tend to love lounging on sofas! Irish Wolfhounds come in many colours, including Black, White, Brindle, Fawn, Red, Grey. Note: Life expectancy is between 7-10 years. Larger dogs tend to have shorter lifespans than smaller dogs.

Beautiful one- off litter of giant Irish Wolfhound X Great Dane/ Mastiff puppies. Mother is an Irish Wolfhound, father is a Great Dane X French Mastiff (aka Dogue de Bordeaux). Both parents are loved family pets, well behaved, gentle and relaxed personality. Father is from UK. All puppies had their full puppy vaccines and have been flea and wormed. Brought up around young kids, cats, other dogs and livestock. Reluctant sale as I want to keep them all but realistically that's not ideal for giving them all the one on one attention they deserve. "Hailey" the fawn puppy is very attention seeking looking for cuddles all day long. "Shadow" the black girl is an adventurer and loves outdoors exploring and playing chasing. "Grey" is a very unusually coloured girl and is very gentle and prefers a laid back lifestyle on a bed watching the world go by.
