German Shepherd X Parson Russell Terrier puppies.
Yes, they are a unique mix alright! The story goes;
I bred my girl Suzie to a Parson Russell Terrier and unbeknowns to me, the residence guard dog, Bruce also caught her when the kitchen door was left open. The result being a rather interesting litter of pure Parson Russell and PRT X GSD.
Now I hope you agree, they didn't turn out bad at all! They are well used to rural living and being around horses, so a similar home would suit them. They are definitely active little guys, so again, an active home is best. They stand around 18 inches at the moment and should finish 20-22 inches, which is pretty impressive! At 3/4 months old they were as big as Suzie, so they will be the size of a smaller GSD when finished. Thanks to the Parson, they have quality hind ends and straight backs, so will likely avoid the same health issues associated with GSD. Temperament wise, they are super friendly, super intelligent but definitely have a protective nature. They are very well socialised with other dogs as I have a few! I probably shouldn't have held onto them for as long as I have, but I'd prefer to wait for the right homes.
I'm not sure what I've missed out here, but just ask me for any other information
