The record holder for the tallest dog ever is a Great Dane called Zeus, who measured 111.8 cm (44.0 in) from paw to shoulder. Great Danes are one of the heaviest breeds of dogs, typically weighing between 100 and 120 lb (45 and 54 kg). The Great Dane is a working dog developed originally for hunting boar, deer and bear.

Wexford Great Dane Age: 2 years

Bear is a fantastic example of his breed. Approx 75kg, so huge and has always been fed on premium quality food. He is a house dog who has been rared with kids, a cockapoo and two cats. Loves walks on the beach, in the forest, loves to play generally but is super relaxed in the house. Bear is healthy, happy and handsome. He is gentle, affectionate and well behaved, despite being spoilt rotten. Bear is also a great guard dog and always alerts us to anything out of the ordinary.
