Roscoe the IKC Registered Dachshund

Roscoe is a dashing miniature smooth haired dachshund, with a beautiful healthy coat. He's 3 years old, a proven stud and in perfect health.

He is admired everywhere he goes and brings joy to everyone. He is really gentle with kids. He is really active, with lots of energy but loves to lie in the sun and chill too. He has his papers and is IKC registered.

• Cover €500 with papers.

Based in Dun Laoghaire but can also be in Carlow at times.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about the vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
