The Irish Wolfhound is one of the Irish native breeds of dogs. The name originates from its purpose—wolf hunting with dogs—rather than from its appearance. It is the tallest of all recognised breeds. Irish Wolfhounds can be an imposing sight, standing as high as 32 inches at the shoulder and weighing as much as 180 pounds (80 kgs). Despite their formidable appearance, they are gentle giants and are truly devoted to their families. They are also relatively calm dogs, the tend to love lounging on sofas! Irish Wolfhounds come in many colours, including Black, White, Brindle, Fawn, Red, Grey. Note: Life expectancy is between 7-10 years. Larger dogs tend to have shorter lifespans than smaller dogs.

These puppies are IKC registered, have been microchipped, wormed every 2 weeks since birth and liver shunt tested which have come back clear. They have been reared around children and other dogs so are very social. Parents are both much loved family pets who can be seen. Galway Irish Wolfhound Age: 3 months 1 Male
2, 14 week old male Irish Wolfhound pups for sale. IKC registered and microchipped, fully vaccinated with the 9 in 1 vaccine. Wormed every two weeks from birth and both pups have been liver shunt tested and shown to be clear. The dam was heart & liver shunt tested before mating, again shown to be clear. These pups have been reared in a family home and extremely well socialised and are well used to the sights and sounds of family life. Both parents have been successful in the show ring resulting in a quality breeding. These pups will be a great addition to any home and are ready to go and will leave with a toy, vet bed and sufficient food for a week along with all paperwork including health records.
