It's important to buy from health tested parents to avoid inheriting the breeds faults .i.e Cord 1-PRA ,Degenerative Myelopathy & Mutation associated with OI .All the fore mention tests ensures that there is no mutation of e.g. (Cord 1-Pra) Blindness in young adults, Degenerative Myelopathy( muscle weakness and loss of coordination from spinal cord, ) and OI Osteogenesis Imperfecta ( impairs the development of collagen and causes brittle bones.) This is Penny's first litter. Her Father was a Kaninchen from Pinedax full of champions and she herself although registered as Miniature is more like a Kaninchen, she is tiny. She has been fed chicken daily, together with quality Royal Cainn feed and calcium tablets to ensure high volume & quality of milk for puppie's foundation in life. These puppies have been given the best start. Wormed every 2 weeks, nails clipped & fed on Royal Cainn. They are outside daily for 6 hours to play in the garden and socialise with our other dogs and children. It's extremely important that your puppy has been given all these life skills at a early stage. Unlike some breeders I keep Penny with puppies until they go to their new homes so as to learn from her social skills like accept correction. A warning growl from Penny teaches puppies how to accept dominance and they to accept their place in the pack. This relationship and ability to take correction will be essential to later puppy training.They are being toilet trained with paper at the moment.They have been vet checked and received their 8-1 vac.(Eyes ,heart & stomach checked and clear) Mum & Dad in pictures also I am a lifetime member of the Irish Kennel Club and only bred to their code of ethics.
