IKC Registered pedigree Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund puppies in Waterford

Beautiful red coloured pedigree miniature Long-haired Dachshund puppies and one black & tan boy, reared in our family home looking for their forever family home. Both mum and dad are much loved family pets and both can be seen here.

These puppies are reared in family kitchen and are really well socialised around noise and children and are very playful and much loved.

All puppies are:

• Vet checked

• Microchipped

• Vaccinated and wormed

• IKC registered with 5 generations of breeding history

The puppies are very playful and great fun, They are now on solid food as well as still being with mam and are well ready to leave. They will leave with a starter pack of food, IKC registration, vaccination card and wormed to ensure they settle in as smoothly as possible in their new home. I have millions of pictures and videos so please get in contact if you have any questions or need more information.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109211482, 981098109211486, 981098109211380, 981098109211368) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
11. This seller is a Registered Seller of Pets, ask to see their Registered Sellers ID from the Department of Agriculture.
