2 x Dapple Dachshunds in Kilkenny

Two affectionate Dachshund available in Thomastown: One male Chocolate Dapple and one male Silver Dapple. They are aged 1 year and 7 months, and are noted for being loving and friendly, they are good around kids and have been in a household with a baby the last 9 months.

These Dachshunds are curious, loyal and enjoy family company; they usually suit owners who can provide regular exercise and walks. If you’re interested or would like more information, please get in touch to arrange a visit. Genuine reason for rehoming and we are hoping to rehome them together.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200506732, 972274200580060) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
6. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
7. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
