Leah the female American Staffordshire Terrier, 4 years 11 months old

Leah is a female American Staffordshire Terrier who is 4 years 11 months old.

Due to unseen circumstances I am having to move house and am not alound to bring my American Staffordshire Terrier Leah as she is on the dangerous dog list. Which couldn't be more wrong in every way.

Leah is a very very special family pet that we all don't want to rehome but have no choice. Leah is very well behaved great with children. Always been gentle,never snapped at anyone. You can pull on her ears, legs, tail, feet and she does not care one bit. Sure you can put your hand in her mouth she won't do a thing. She is okay with other dogs on a lead with the right person in control. She does have one bad habit which is jumping up at you which if you have really small children just might be a problem but other than that I trust the dog with anyone or any children.

I will not give this dog to enyone that does not known about American Staffordshire Terriers as in the wrong hands or treated the wrong way she could become very dangerous. I take pride in owning a Bully breed and prove that in the right hands and treated right they are the most loyal dog in world.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274000537275) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
6. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
7. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
8. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
