Originally bred in England to herd sheep, the Old English Sheepdog is still used for herding today. They are also popular family pets and show dogs. Old English Sheepdogs are gentle and loving dogs that make great companions. They are also intelligent and trainable, although they can be stubborn at times. Old English Sheepdogs need plenty of exercise and grooming, and they are not suited for hotter climates.

Tipperary Old English Sheepdog Age: 1 year

Daithí the Old English Sheepdog is IKC registered and from an excellent certified pedigree bloodline. He has a wonderful temperament, and is perfect in every way. Daithí is excellent with children and with other animals. He learns quickly and was toilet trained and lead trained quickly. He eats well and is exercised daily and has recently completed a health check. Daithí was born black and white and has all the markings associated with a typical “Dulux Dog” which is sought after by breeders. He has a white head and ears, 4 white legs and a white tip on his tail. When Daithí isn’t busy running around the farm you can find him lying off at the front door. We started showing this summer and have always come home in the ribbons. Everywhere we go people stop to admire him. He is a striking boy with an exceptional personality to match.
