Captain Tommy's Journey (aka Rip) is a proven, strong, 23 month old IKC registered Four Generation Pedigree Golden Retriever stud dog.

He is our family pet and has a good, kind and playful nature with a fantastic bloodline, is well used to people, especially children and has fantastic temperament. He is great company and a loyal companion.

Rip is in great health and has fathered a litter of 8 pups on both his and the mothers first time. Once the puppies were old enough, Rip enjoyed playing and relaxing with the puppies. I have included photos of the pups from the litter.

Rip has recently fathered a litter of 4 thriving pups.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about the vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
