Dachshund dogs for stud in Ireland

Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

Dublin Dachshund Age: 1 year

He is a charming and friendly male dachshund with a wonderful temperament. He’s great with humans, kids, and other dogs, making him an ideal companion. In excellent health, he is a delight to be around. While he enjoys his fair share of cozy naps and is a bit of a bed dog, he also loves getting outdoors for exercise and adventure. The Vet has told us he has excellent build with taller back legs which help his back health. He’s the perfect balance of laid-back and energetic, making him a beloved member of any family.
