He is a much-loved family pet with a wonderful personality and a lovely temperament and has a beautiful dapple coat. He is not IKC registered but is healthy and microchipped and vaccinated up to date.

We are looking for healthy, good-tempered female Dachshunds from responsible owners. The health and welfare of both dogs is our priority, so females will need to be suitable for breeding.

Please do not enquire if your female is a dapple or carries the dapple gene, as dapple-to-dapple breeding can produce puppies with serious eye and hearing problems.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about their vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
