IKC Registered - miniature Dachshund for stud in Cork

Arnie is a top of line miniature purebred Dachshund, 3 years old.

He is a very fit & active Dachshund with a lot of character. He’s great with kids & other dogs. Not the yappy type. Has all the typical Dachshund traits. Fully vaccinated & IKC registered. We can provide his vaccination & family history.

He walks on average 3kms per day with at least one 6km walk per week. Loves the beach & swimming but on his own terms. He’s very independent when he wants to be but also very affectionate. A great hunter having picked up some tricks from our hunting Springer but is not a working dog. He will sun bathe & cuddle when he can.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about their vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
