Hey everyone,
We unfortunately are having to re-home our Irish Doodle, Rua. He is 1.5 years old and microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed and deflead.
He is non-shed, and hypoallergenic. He is a big dog (weighs about 27kg), and he does need a lot of attention. As he is still young, he shouldn’t be left alone for too long as he is very attached to his hoomans and loves company.
He’s excellent with children, as we’ve had him since our son was 2. However given his size, older children may be best as he does like to jump up for his scratches/licks, and that could mean knocking someone down. That being said, he is very attune to emotions and is great at comforting and is going to be someone’s best friend.
He is very friendly and bursting with energy and playfulness, however he has grown to be much bigger than our home is currently suitable for, and frankly bigger than we ever expected/prepared for. Our son has ASD and adores Rua, but unfortunately he can just be a bit too energetic for him.
He will ideally need a home with a large garden/access to one, as he requires a lot of exercise and attention.
Happy to provide toys, leads/harness, beds and food. We just want someone to serve him better than we can.
