We are delighted to offer our gorgeous litter of Border Collie x Rottweiler puppies ready to go to their new 5☆ forever homes. Mum is our gorgeous gentle Rottweiler and dad is our beautiful Border Collie. Both with wonderful temperaments. Puppies have been reared in our home, well socialised, loving and full of fun.

The Border Collie x Rottweiler (Border Rottie) is an intelligent, highly energetic, and fiercely loyal hybrid. They combine the protective, confident nature of a Rottweiler with the intense, work-driven instincts of a Border Collie. This mix requires an active owner who can provide consistent training and substantial daily exercise.


Rottweilers are confident, fiercely loyal, and protective dogs. While they are deeply affectionate "gentle giants" with their families, they possess strong territorial instincts. This makes early socialization and firm, consistent training critical to prevent them from becoming overly suspicious of strangers


Border Collies are remarkably intelligent, alert, and energetic workaholics. Known for their intense drive, they thrive on mental stimulation and physical tasks. While deeply affectionate with their families, their strong herding instincts mean they require consistent training to prevent nipping or chasing.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274001685298, 972274001685296, 972274001685300, 972274001685292, 972274001685291, 972274001685295, 972274001685294, 972274001685293, 972274001685297) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
