Rhodesian Ridgeback Puppy

Two IKC (PENDING) Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies available from mid November.

This stunning litter has been bred for health, temperament and confirmation and come from Irish, UK and USA Champion lines. Both parents have exceptional health test results, clear of hip and elbow dysplasia, normal thyroid function and DM and JME clear with a full DNA profile also completed. More important than being very successful in the show ring in Ireland and gaining her IKC championship at just 20 months, Mom Nora is our much loved family pet as is Dad Mango who lives a very happy life with his pack in the UK.

This was a match made in heaven and produced a litter of stunning, healthy girls, some of whom we hope will carry on these very successful champion lines. We are looking for the perfect fit for two of these beautiful, smart, affectionate babies for them to be loved and cherished as much as they are here with us. These puppies will be Irish Kennel Club registered and vaccinated and have been microchipped, wormed every two weeks since birth, de-flead, potty pad trained with some basic obedience training and puppy culture stimulation to ensure they have had the best start and to set them up for success in the future. They will come with their IKC cert, pedigree cert of champion lineage, microchip cert, vaccination cert, puppy starter pack and a lifetime of support.

2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200541069, 972274200541055) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
9. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
10. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
11. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
