Maltese x Bichon Frise puppies in Kildare

We have two gorgeous little female Maltese x Bichon Frise puppies, looking for loving new homes.

Mum is our much-loved family pet, a Maltese x Bichon Frise, and Dad is a pedigree, IKC-registered Maltese.

The puppies have been raised in our family home with their mum and have had lots of handling, attention and interaction from the beginning. They are used to everyday household life, people and other dogs and are happy, confident little characters.

They are very playful, affectionate and sociable, love being around people and, of course, love chasing balls and playing!

About the puppies:

Vaccinated up to date
Wormed
Non-shedding
Well socialised with people and other dogs
Eating independently
Started toilet training

They will go to their new homes with their microchip documentation, vaccination record, some of their current food and a blanket with their littermate's scent to help them settle in. They have been sleeping away from their Mum now for two weeks.

These are puppies from our family pet, not a commercial breeding set-up, so finding the right homes for them is really important to us. We are looking for loving, responsible homes where they will become part of the family.

Although we expect them to go to separate homes, we would absolutely love to keep them together if the right home came along. They are great little companions for each other, so we’re happy to be flexible on price if someone genuinely wants to give them both a loving family home. We are looking for pet homes rather than breeding homes.

Mum can be seen with the puppies. We are also happy to answer any questions about Dad and his breeding.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.
3. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station and to us via the Report ad button.
4. We recommend you print or save a copy of this page for your records in case the ad is updated / closed.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274001782577, 972274001782571) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
