Black Short Coat IKC Registered German Shepherd puppies in Kerry

Morrigan and Loki are pleased to announce that their first family is
almost ready to leave home. Comprising of 4 female and 1 male German Shepherd puppies. They were born on the night of Friday July 3rd.

Loki thinks his mate is amazing, she is 2 ½ years old and managed to feed their family for the first three weeks with very little help from their
humans. Born in their human’s dining room the puppies have been
handled, weighed, occasionally hand-fed and played with by Eileen and
Bob from day one. Morrigan is not as happy about quite a lot of her
human’s friends fussing, picking up and playing with her puppies as
well but she does acknowledge that this will really help her puppies to
bond with other humans.

Both Morrigan and Loki are smart, black, short coats with straight
backs and very pointed ears. He finds this very attractive in her.
All of the puppies are black and will probably be short coat as well.
Two of them have white flashes on their chests. Morrigan tells
everyone very loudly if there are strangers around, enjoys long
country walks, digging in the garden and sleeping on the rug in front
of the fire. Loki is also very protective of his home and thinks
that keeping Bob company is the best thing ever. He hates being on
his own, without his humans, and really doesn’t think it would be a
good idea for any of his puppies to be on their own in their new home,
both his humans work from home and are around almost all the time.

Eileen has been taking lots and lots of pictures and videos of the
puppies from day one. If anyone would like to see a selection of these
or indeed ones of Loki and Morrigan please just ask.

Not that either Morrigan or Loki think it’s important but their
humans have “registered the little ones with the IKC” and had
some strange smelling human inject them to stop them getting ill.

If any humans out here think they can offer one of their puppies a home
for life then please let Bob and Eileen know because Morrigan and
Loki, although brilliant dogs, are very paw at answering messages.

2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200734912, 972274200684150, 972274200734924, 972274200734956, 972274200734961) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
