The French Bulldog is a small breed of domestic dog. "Frenchies" were the result of a cross between Toy Bulldogs imported from England and local ratters in Paris during the 1800s. They were popularised in France by actress Sarah Bernhardt, who kept one as a pet. French Bulldogs are muscular, heavy boned dogs that are shorter and stockier than their English Bulldog cousins. They have a long, soft coat that can be either brindle, fawn, or white. Other colours are more rare. Frenchies are not big on barking, but are very alert dogs. They do not require a lot of exercise.

Clare French Bulldog Age: 3 years 1 Female
We are sad to be selling our beautiful almost 4 year old French Bulldog. Very unusual blue/ grey merle colour. Beautiful temperament, house trained, loves attention and exercise. Reason for selling, our German Shepherd doesn’t get along with her. Would make a great family pet. She's a tough little dog and a great watch dog. We paid €3,800 for her as a puppy but since the big dog doesn’t get along with her, we are willing to take €1,250. We have all of her documentation (including passport and vaccinations) etc. Just yesterday she got her kennel cough vaccinations. This is a genuine ad looking for Zara to go to a loving home. Bruce is a 3 year old French Bulldog. He has been around small children and other dogs and is so sweet and kind with both. Unfortunately due to changes in circumstance we need to rehome our French Bulldog. Bruce is playful and loves to snuggle. He is very submissive and gentle. He is great on a lead and loves to run into the ocean head first. He wants to be with people always and does tend to bark a bit at first if in the crate. Potty trained.
