Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

We are delighted to offer three IKC registered miniature smooth haired Dachshund puppies for sale, born from our beloved family pet who hails from champion bloodlines and this is her first litter. All puppies have excellent pedigree and champion bloodlines from both mother and fathers side. Mother can be seen in last 2 photos. We have 1 female ( black/tan) left Puppies are extremely affectionate and fun loving. They have beautiful temperaments and are great with kids and other animals, due to being reared in our family home. They are now 9 weeks old and fully eating on their own.
