Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

IKC Miniature Dachshund Puppies

IKC registered Miniature Dachshund puppies available for their new homes, consisting of: ➖1 Silver dapple female ➖1 Silver dapple male ➖1 Black and Tan female ➖1 Black and Tan female These puppies have gotten the best from the very start and are extremely well socialised. They have received the following: ➖Vaccinated by our vet ➖Health checked by our vet ➖Microchipped and registered with the Irish ➖Kennel Club ➖Wormed regularly ➖Flea and mite treated We have commenced toilet training with these puppies and they are now using puppy pads successfully. They are also eating a dry nut and are fully weaned from mom and more dependent on human interaction (Which will make the transition into a new home easier) We have also commenced crate training, particularly at night time which also will make the puppies transition into their new homes a little smoother. Each puppy comes with their Vet approved vaccination records and their IKC registration information, including details of their parents and grandparents.
