Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

IKC registered Kaninchen Dachshunds. IKC registration paperwork was sent off 09/01/25. For those unfamiliar with the term, Kaninchen is the smallest breed of daschund, smaller than miniature. Loving, playful, and clever puppies. Puppies have been raised in a family home and are used to being around children. Mother can be viewed with the pups. Sire can be viewed on Instagram @irish.clover.kennels in the highlight reel titled “Hamish”. The father of the sire of these pups was an entrant in Crufts two years ago - ‘The Ballincorbeg Dog’. All up to date with vaccinations and worming.

we have two beautiful little long haired dachshunds. The little boy is brown and tan he is very affectionate and playful, the little girl is a lighter tan brown more fawn in colour she is very friendly and inquisitive. Mummy is our family pet she is red and dad is cream a Ik club registered stud. Puppies have been reared in our home so well adjusted to family life. Both puppies are using puppy pads they have had their first vaccinations and are wormed regularly. They will make beautiful new additions to the right families.

Mam is an adorable Maltese/ Yorkshire Terrier and she is the most gentle loving dog. Dad is a stunning long haired black and tan Daschund, he is full of fun and adores children. Both are adored family pets and wil be here to greet you on arrival. I have both male and female puppies available. These puppies have been reared inside a busy family home with utmost love and care. They are the most adorable bundles of fun, well used to children and well adapted to household noises.
