Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

They have received the following: ➖Vaccinated by our vet ➖Health checked by our vet ➖Microchipped and registered with the Irish ➖Kennel Club ➖Wormed regularly ➖Flea and mite treated We have commenced toilet training with these puppies and they are now using puppy pads successfully. They are also eating a dry nut and are fully weaned from mom and more dependent on human interaction (Which will make the transition into a new home easier) We have also commenced crate training, particularly at night time which also will make the puppies transition into their new homes a little smoother. Each puppy comes with their Vet approved vaccination records and their IKC registration information, including details of their parents and grandparents. We own both parents which are extremely small with both weighing in under 5kg. 5 star homes are a must and refusal of a puppy may be considered if we feel someone cannot offer them the home they deserve. Our beautiful Daisy and Leo had a litter of 4 gorgeous puppies. We are delighted to offer a male Black/Tan Dachshund puppy for sale in Dublin. This little fellow is currently only a few months old and exhibits a friendly temperament, making him an ideal companion. Dachshunds are known for their lively and courageous nature, often forming strong bonds with their family members. Despite their small size, they are quite energetic and enjoy playtime and walks. Our puppies are Irish Kennel Club registered, microchipped, vaccinated (2 vaccines and kennel cough), and wormed every 2 weeks. They are regularly checked by our vet to ensure they are in the best of health. Both parents are health tested and are PRA-CORD 1 clear, which means they are free from certain genetic eye conditions. You can see both parents upon visiting. The puppies are currently eating Royal Canin stage 2 dry food and have been well-socialised, making them friendly and adaptable. This little one is ready to go to his forever home and comes with his vaccination records, Irish Kennel Club registration certificate, and a puppy starter pack.
