Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

Dublin Dachshund Age: 11 weeks 3 Females

3 females left (chocolate and tan purple collar & black and tan yellow collar & chocolate dapple red collar). These puppies are IKC registered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed and health checked. Both mam and dad (last picture) are our own family dogs with great temperaments and are extremely intelligent. Your puppy will come with a 1kg complementary bag of food, a puppy pack and all documentation to help ease the transition for both you and puppy.
