Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

Stunning, short-haired litter of purebred miniature Dachshund puppies. They are family dogs. They are black and tan. They are very active. Both parents can be seen together in our home as they are much loved family pets. Puppies are IKC Registered and will also come with 3 generations of pedigree certification, microchipped, vaccinated and vet check as well as wormed up to date. Full puppy pack also.
