Dachshunds are a small breed of dog that were originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They are one of the most sought after dogs on dogs.ie. They are also sometimes called "sausage dogs" because of their long, slender bodies. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, wire-haired, and longhaired. They are loyal and affectionate dogs that make great companions. Dachshunds are relatively easy to train, but they can be stubborn at times! They often suffer from back issues, intervertebral disc disease, due to their longer spines. They are dolichocephalic (long-faced) dogs, and thus are more prone to nasal fungal & bacterial infections. As with all breeds you should always learn a little bit about the breed.

These puppies are IKC registered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed and health checked. Purebred non registered black and tan miniature Dachshund puppies. Both mother and father are my own pets and can be seen. My puppies will each leave with a puppy pack, which will include their microchip certificate, health care book, toy, blanket and of course their food. They have been fully vet checked, microchipped, wormed every two weeks and 1st vaccination. I will always be here to offer lifetime support.
