Playful & Affectionate Dachshund puppies in Kerry

We are pleased to offer a delightful selection of Dachshund puppies for sale, aged just a few months. Located in Ballyduff, we have a male puppy in a charming brown and white coat, alongside three female puppies, two of which are tricolour (brown, black, and white) and one in brown and white. All puppies have been vaccinated and wormed, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their new homes.

Dachshunds are known for their affectionate nature and playful spirit. They are intelligent and curious dogs, often forming strong bonds with their families. Their unique elongated bodies and short legs make them both adorable and distinctive, while their lively temperament means they thrive in active households where they can explore and play.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109213026, 981098109213072, 981098109213054, 981098109213038) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
