Molly is a beautiful 2 year old female Miniature Dachshund who is looking for a very special forever home. ❤️

She is a nervous, sensitive girl who takes time to build trust with people. Once she feels comfortable and safe, she has a lovely personality, but she needs someone who is patient and willing to let her settle in at her own pace.

🏡 Molly would suit:

• A quiet, calm household

• Someone with plenty of patience and time to build her confidence

• Ideally a female owner, as she tends to bond more easily with women

• A home where she won’t be overwhelmed by lots of visitors, noise or chaos

• Someone experienced with nervous or sensitive dogs

She is not the type of dog who will immediately run up to everyone for attention. Her new owner will need to give her space, consistency and lots of reassurance while she learns to trust them.

Finding the right home is much more important than finding a quick home for Molly, so serious enquiries only. 🩷

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109113430) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
6. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
7. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
