We have 2 lovingly home raised Miniature Dachshund male puppies available for new 5 🌟 homes ,

Dad is Dexter from Emerald Daxi’s Ireland on Facebook / Instagram ,

Mum is our beautiful girl Penny ,

Boys have been wormed every 2 weeks since birth , de-flead at their veterinary appointment , vaccinated and microchipped ,

They have been lovingly raised in a busy home environment from day 1 and will make a fantastic attribute to a loving family ,

Miniature Dachshunds are amazing house dogs and devoted little companions ,

The puppies themselves will be extremely small examples of the breed as Dad is 3kgs and Mammy is 4.5kgs ,

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109356882, 981098109356881) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
