1 and 6 year old female IKC Registered miniature Dachshunds

2 Gorgeous female miniature Dachshunds, aged just over 1 year and the other is 6 years old, located in Wicklow. They are Mother and daughter so would love to keep them together. Both are IKC registered.

Both are very affectionate and also well-socialised, get along wonderfully with other dogs as they attend doggy daycare 3 days a week. They have been vaccinated and wormed, ready to join your family.

Dachshunds are renowned for their playful and curious nature, making them excellent companions. This breed is known for being affectionate and loyal, often forming strong bonds with their families. They can be stubborn too so please be willing to give them time to settle in. They will make a fantastic addition to any household

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109051019, 981098106607952) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
6. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
7. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
8. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
