Two beautiful Chihuahuas dogs in Clare

Two Chihuahua dogs available in Bunratty: a male light grey/brown (Lilac/Isabella) and a female fawn and white. Both are friendly; they have been reared with children, live in a busy household, and are good with dogs and cats. The male was imported from Russia and has a lovely personality; the female is small, enjoys walks and is used to cats. Both are IKC registered and are up to date with worming and vaccinations. Asking prices are €1,200 for the male and €900 for the female.

Male Chihuahua imported from Russia and changed to IKC. He is very friendly and has a beautiful personality. He just turned 5 years old and would make a beautiful stud dog or pet.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981020002300801, 900217000177088) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
6. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
7. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
