Beautiful litter of Shihcon (teddy bear) puppies in Longford

We have a delightful litter of Shihcon (teddy bear) puppies available for sale, all born on 24th May 2025. Litter of 7 but only 3 available for sale. These charming puppies are now ready to find their forever homes.

We have two male and one female, all boasting a lovely brown and white coat. Located in Longford, these puppies are affectionate, making them wonderful companions for families or individuals alike.

They have been vaccinated and wormed, ensuring they are in good health as they embark on their new adventures.

The Bichon Frise(mum) is known for its cheerful and playful nature, often forming strong bonds with their owners mixing that with the loyal and forever faithful Shih Tzu(dad) breed makes for the perfect companion. This breed (Shihcon) typically exhibits a friendly disposition, making them excellent with children and other pets. Their hypoallergenic coat requires regular grooming, but their affectionate temperament makes every bit of care worthwhile.

A bit about mum - mum is a fabulous Bichon Frise. She is cheeky, confident and very playful in nature. She is loving and likes to be snuggled and cuddled. She especially loves children and her face will light up when she is interacted with and loves the craic.

A bit about dad- Dad is extremely laid back, loves nothing more than to sprawl out in his bed or on the lap if available and snooze. He loves belly rubs, he is very loyal and affectionate and will sence if someone is unwell /sad and is first to the scene to offer licks and snuggles. He does enjoy short walks and playing with his ball.

These puppies come from a family home and they are loved and hand reared from day one. We are fully registered with the department of Agriculture and marine as breeders and are premises/pets are open to regular inspections.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109207744, 981098109207737, 981098109207749) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
11. This seller is a Registered Seller of Pets, ask to see their Registered Sellers ID from the Department of Agriculture.
