8 month old Beagle puppy in Meath is looking for a Loving new home

We’re looking to rehome our beautiful 8-month-old Beagle puppy.

This is an incredibly difficult decision, but our 3-year-old son has recently been diagnosed with asthma, and we’ve been advised that may be contributing to his symptoms. As much as we adore our dog, we have to put our son’s health first.

Our beagle is full of life, affectionate, and loves being around people. He would thrive in a home with space to play and owners who can give him the time, attention, and ongoing training he needs. He’s still very much a puppy— curious, energetic, and eager to learn.

Our priority is finding him the loving home he deserves. We’re happy to include his crate, lead, food bowls, toys, and food to help with the transition.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200584016) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
6. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
7. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
