Description
TheĀ Australian CobberdogĀ is a purpose-bred companion dog developed in Australia, known for its friendly temperament and strong focus on human bonding. It was selectively bred from lines related to theĀ LabradoodleĀ to create a more predictable coat type and temperament, suitable for people with allergies. They are Intelligent, trainable, and commonly used as therapy or assistance dogs due to their calm and social nature
Patrick is a standard size. See parents in 3rd/4th photo. We brought Patrick back from Australia last July. He is absolutely adored by us and a big wow factor when people meet him. He loves people, kids and other animals. He is unbelievably loyal, intelligent and gentle. We are open for Patrick to be a stud for any type of Doodle, like Sheepadodle etc!! would prefer it to be a standard large size.
Tips for contacting breeders
- Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
- Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
- Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
- Ask breeders about their vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
- Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
- If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
- Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
- Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
