Rare Crossbreed Newfoundland/Astrala

Hello there

I'm five and never sired a litter as my owner wanted me to mature.

• mother in pure breed Newfoundland
• father is rare pure breed Portuguese mountain dog The Astrala.

Both have papers and kennel club registered.

I am kennel club registered

• No health problems including having my hips and joints scored
• 65 to 70kg
• Very friendly
• Great nature
• Easy train
• Both parents are pure breed.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about the vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
