Pedigree Wire-Haired Dachshund Available for Stud 🐾

Our gorgeous 1-year-old pedigree wire-haired dachshund is available for stud. He has beautiful wild boar colouring, a lovely wire-haired coat and is a really handsome little dog.

He comes from pedigree lines, with his mother from Athlone and his father coming from European lines.

Temperament-wise, he is an absolute sweetheart. He is an incredibly loyal, affectionate and loving family dog with such a funny little personality. He loves his food and treats, adores cuddles and is happiest being around his people.

He has grown up with our other dachshund, Rufus, and the two get on brilliantly. He is playful, sociable and very much part of our family.

He has a lovely build and gorgeous colouring, but his temperament is what we love most about him — he is a happy, affectionate little dog with bags of character.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about their vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.

7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
