Extremely friendly 6 year old golden Cocker Spaniel for stud

Benji is 6 year old Cocker Spaniel and has been our loyal companion since he was 8 weeks old. He is quite small for his breed, but has a beautiful unique golden apricot coat and has an incredibly loving and friendly personality. He is really energetic when we’re out but he is completely content at home sleeping on the sofa. We want to give him a shot at having a litter of puppies and so we could have a Benji junior to train in his ways. No need for a stud fee (as long as you’re not the far side of the country) but we would like to choose a puppy or two of our own if it works out.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about their vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
