The handsome red devil pictured is our pet and hard working gundog Willow ( Rutherglens Dearg Bearg )

Twice proven to our own bitch, Willow has produced top quality pups, 6 in 2023 and 8 in 2025 .

Incredibly fit and muscular with nothing spare on his frame, Willows stamina is phenomenal.

He retrieves from both hard cover and water and could swim for Ireland .

This comes as no surprise given his pedigree.

Coming down from Field Trial Champions such as Mallowdale Zander, Argyle Warrior,and Danderw Druid amongst others .

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about the vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
