Meet Rodney my best mate who is also a Bernese Mountain Dog in his spare time.

He is well cared for, with a fantastic social demeanour towards other dogs and children.

Incredibly gentle for his size, social towards new people and new dogs immediately.

Rodney is IKC Registered with pedigree documentation ready to go also to trace his lineage if required. He’s a beautiful dog, with strong typical colouring for a Bernese and a Swiss Kiss to boot!

Microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, groomed, single, and ready to mingle. Rodney likes to dress to impress as you can see by his photos (also some proof that he’s incredibly patient and friendly 😅).

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about their vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
