It’s heartbreaking to part with our beautiful 4 year old Rottweiler girl. She is registered with the IKC. She is the best dog ever. Gentle, loyal, and a big softy. She is great with people, children, and other dogs. Unfortunately she is not good with cats, chickens and ducks. Which is the only reason we are rehoming her. She isn’t aggressive with the birds, but is too rough. She learns quickly, has great recall, walks well on a lead. Any questions just ask.

Born on the 18th of May, 2020, she is now 4 years old and embodies the active temperament typical of her breed. This lovely lady is fully vaccinated, neutered, and wormed, ensuring she is in the best of health for her new home. Located in the heart of Galway, she is eagerly waiting to bring joy and energy to her forever family. She would be suited to an active household with older children only. She has lived with kids her whole life but she could get overwhelmed when young children don't respect her boundaries. A secure garden is also a must as she can be a bit of an escape artist. Minnie is fully house trained and understands basic commands like "sit, stay, on your mat" etc. Her only challenge is prize guarding, however rare and managable. Also, as is typical of her breed, she can be quite vocal and needs regular exercise. Galway Jack Russell, Pomeranian Age: 7 years 1 Female

7 years 4 months old female Jack Russell X Pomeranian dog looking for a new home without children. Her name is Jazz and she is a playful, affectionate and happy dog. Over the last few years Jazz has demonstrated resource guarding behaviour with us over food, balls, toys etc. We have three young children and are now looking to find a more suitable home where Jazz doesn't feel on edge by the constant noise. She is fine with other dogs out in parks although if the occasional dog comes up to her barking as we pass then she will also return the favour. She is great with humans 90% of the time although as mentioned she has resource guarding issues so you must be watchful as if she takes something into her bed then she might try and protect it. We have been working with a dog behaviourist to avoid this type of behaviour and she is crate trained to offer her a safe space to retreat to and rest. We are hoping the new owners will also be able to work with Jazz in this area and a new more calm home will suit her better. She loves big walks and is great on the lead with no pulling. She is a sleepy dog and is always happy to snooze on the floor or crate wherever you are. She is spayed, house trained and knows basic commands. She is an indoor dog. She needs company during the day. She can be left alone but not for extended periods of time, if left alone she should be left outside in a secure garden. Jazz's new home should have adults only and owners that will love her and work with her on her resource guarding. We did not think we would ever come to this decision but we feel Jazz would feel more comfortable in a house without children and chaos as she loves her rest and play time. We would like to donate the money received to an animal shelter to help other dogs.
