Max is a 3 year old male Cocker Spaniel. Unfortunately, with everyone now working from home, Max isn’t getting the exercise he needs for his breed. We also don’t have a large enough garden for him to run around in between walks. We believe rehoming Max in a more spacious environment would be far better for his mental and physical well-being.
Max is a lovely dog to those he loves at home, and we’ll truly miss him. He can be very protective of his space and wary of visitors, but outside his familiar environment, he’s a completely different dog. He needs someone hands-on and committed to keeping him both mentally and physically stimulated.
He can be quite reactive around strangers & dogs, so he'll need someone who is patient, understanding, and experienced with dogs that require a little extra love and care.
Max also tends to resource guard high-value food & toys, resulting in him growling or lashing out spontaneously.
