It is with a very heavy heart we have decided to rehome our beloved Poodle Kiki. She’s almost 2 years old and is an extremely happy, loving, independent girl who just wants attention and love. Our reason for parting with her is due to our 2 year old daughter who isn’t able to understand how to be gentle around Kiki and because of this its resulting in Kiki having to constantly defend herself from being pulled and dragged and we are afraid what might happen. This is why I would also need an older kid or adult only home for Kiki. She is a really good natured dog but our daughter is too much for her. She is an indoor dog, fully house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, wormed and flead regularly and is great on the lead. Poodles are also known for their hypoallergenic, non shed coats. Best a home without livestock as she gets too excited and is inclined to chase and snap at them. Loves a good run about before a nice laze about on the sofa. Enjoys playing with toys and will spend hours chewing a good one. Food driven so easily trained. Will bark or howl if overexcited. Gets anxious if left alone so best suited to someone home all the time or better with another similar size dog for company. Medical: Rabies vaccinated since July 24, neutered and up to date with annual vaccines including kennel cough. Fractured canine tooth extracted. Few small scars on skin from old wounds. Izzy will make a fantastic companion to a family or individual home most of the day. She would love an active lifestyle but is equally content for hours chewing a toy on a comfortable bed. A pretty lurcher with a fun personality to match.
