We are delighted to introduce our litter of IKC registered Tatra Shepherd puppies. They are lovingly bred and raised high quality puppies of outstanding confirmation and temperament. They will make excellent companions and show dogs, if you wish to show them 😊 We have both their parents here, they are our family pets and show dogs. Both have won Irish Champion titles and father has become an International Champion earlier this year. We have done extensive health tests on both parents. They have a very good hip and elbow scores as well as clear DNA panel tests. Both parents came from health tested and champion bloodlines. About the breed: Tatra Shepherd Dogs are livestock guarding breed, extremely loyal, gentle, affectionate and intelligent dogs. They are level headed, obedient and very easy to train, they thrive in a positive reinforcement environment. They have moderate energy level, they are happy with gentle walks. They don't tend to move fast, they move with a speed of a grazing flock 😂 Their white coat is self cleaning and easy to maintain with an odd brushing session. They are giant breed, expected adult weight for a male is 50-60kg and for a female is 40-45kg. They are NOT Pyrenees Mountain Dog, although similar in appearance, but it is a different breed 😊 Originally from Polish Mountains, these dogs become almost extinct, they are very rare breed, only around 400 registered puppies each year, they are most popular in their native Poland. About puppies: Puppies have been born and raised in our sitting room. We have weaned them on raw meat and goats milk, from which we moved on to soaked puppy kibble, and now they are happily eating dry food. Puppies have been raised with our kids, other dogs and cats. They are having excellent socialisation and exposure. We have them crate trained and toilet training is going really well. They are now microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked, registered and ready to find their forever homes, where they will be loved and cherished 😊 Puppies will be sold under contract to protect them and to provide new owners with proof of sale. They will go to new homes with their food, goody bag of treats and paperwork (microchip cert, pedigree and vaccination book) We are here, always available to advise and support new owners.
