Newfoundland X CailĂn Ălainn
Details
Description
Bypass the troublesome puppy stage with this 11 month old (technically still a puppy) 3/4 bred Newfoundland female.
She is very obedient and anxious to please her owner with no faults or behaviour issues- genuine reason for sale.
Her mother is half-Bernese Mountain Dog, half Newfoundland and dad is an IKC registered Newfoundland, so this puppy is 3/4 Newfoundland and definitely looks like one, markedly black in colour all over.
The main benefit of this cross is her coat, brought from the Bernese side, there is no need for clipping or grooming as her old hair sheds naturally without difficulty. She is now in her winter coat which is fantastic looking, imagine an black Arctic fox!
She is a very enthusiastic swimmer too (see video of her with her dad), if you live beside water she will appreciate that especially in warm weather. She walks easily on the lead and is very obedient and comes when called or whistled for. She is very watchful and protective of her home as with most Newfies but does not bark unnecessarily.
We are reluctant to let her go at this time and want to see her go to a good home which she deserves. Her new owner will have a great watchful friendly, gentle and devoted friend for life.
We own both parents and we also have a younger Landseer puppy (see pics) that can be seen. Please contact me for more info or to arrange a visit. Ădh mĂłr!
