Newfoundland x

We have a small litter of Newfoundland x puppies available with two charming options: a female landseer tricolour (brown, black, and white) and a male black and tan.

Both parents live with us and this is their first litter, Luath: their mother is a Newfoundland x Bernese mountain dog and her gentle, protective and intelligent nature has to be seen to be believed. The sire Ciúnas: is an IKC registered Newfoundland and is also gentle and intelligent but still has playful traits as he has just past his first birthday. In the photos he can be seen in our pond where he likes to cool down daily. Both parents and pups can be seen in the photos.

At just 3 months old, these puppies are intelligent and extremely good-natured, making them perfect companions for families and individuals alike. Newfoundlands are known for their gentle temperament and loyalty, and these puppies are no exception; they will quickly adapt to their new surroundings and provide endless love and companionship.

Both puppies are vaccinated and wormed, ensuring they are healthy and ready to join their new homes.

The female tri-colour pup seen in the photos is offered for sale at €1000 and the male black & tan €1250

2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109122454, 981098109122536) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
