These Labrador puppies are well socialised, having been raised around children, other pets, including cats and chickens, and other dogs. Labradors are known for their intelligence, obedience, and loyalty, making them excellent companions and family pets. They are also versatile and can adapt to various roles, such as assistance dogs, thanks to their gentle temperament and eagerness to please.

The mother is a much-loved family pet who we adore she loves nothing more than chasing her ball, long walks in the woods and a swim to finish. She is very obedient, intelligent and easily trained as she'll do absolutely anything for her ball.The puppies are already showing signs of their potential, with early training successes such as sitting, staying, waiting patiently for food and giving their paw. One happy new owner has reported that their new puppy is 90% house trained after only 3 days.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109194771, 981098109194774, 981098109194762, 981098109194741, 981098109212350) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
