Red Setter puppies - working lines

Dublin Irish Setter Age: 11 weeks 1 Male, 1 Female
Two Red Setter puppies, a male and a female. Their dad is also available. A 1 year old working Red Setter. His DOB is 17/10/23 and microchip number is 991001006095686. Our Setters are from the working lines meaning that they are not as tall as the dogs you seen in dog shows nor is their hair as long. The shorter hair is great as it requires less grooming and is generally easier to keep. The mother of the puppies is the daughter of our original Red Setter. Hence we can predict that the puppies will be good natured. Yes they need exercise but so do we all. Setters as a breed are not known for any aggressive behaviour, excessive barking etc. That being said a dog should never be left alone with a child and a child should be asked not to pull/drag out of a puppy/dog. At this stage of the puppies life they play for a while, then sleep for a while. They only know what they have seen and experienced to date so if you live in a city the puppy won't know what a bus or large truck is. In the same way the puppy won't know the feeling of the kitchen tiles under his/her feet and they may be surprised by the feeling. None of the above is fear it is simply not knowing. Puppies need to be fed several times a day and are not house trained, as they are simply too young. They have had their 1st vaccination and are microchipped. They have been wormed and you should repeat that every 2/3 weeks for the next 6 months. There is always room to negotiation on the price but please don't contact us with any best price nonsense or offer half the asking price. You should be able to express some reason for wanting a Red Setter. The paperwork for the puppies IKC registration was sent on the 26th October. Our Certificate of Registration with the Department is FPT200193C.
