IKC registered Red Setter puppies. 1 male and 1 female.

We have had Red Setters for years. We think they are a fab breed of dog for everyone who has some space and time to walk or run with them. We know this line of Red Setters back to their granny on both sides!

They have both turned into super friendly affectionate and medium sized puppies. They are from working lines rather than show dogs, so they won't be as tall or have as long a coat but both are a super chestnut red colour. The male has white on his chest which just makes him look more red.

Both are wormed and with vaccinations, both healthy active Red Setters. Eating dry food, full of energy and curious. Not house trained.

Please come and see which ever one catches you eye. There is no way to describe how lovely they are without your meeting them. You can't decided on the basis of a picture or what we write.

The asking price is quite reasonable and in our view sufficient.

2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200481842, 972274200481843) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
6. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
7. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
8. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
